Salmonella typhi causes typhoid fever which is an endemic disease in the tropic and sub-tropic and has bccome a major public health problem in developing countries of the world. Two hundred participants were used for the study. Blood samples were collected from I 00 male and 100 female patients for this study. Findings revealed that 68 % were positive while 32 % were negative among males and 46% were positive while 54% were tested negative among females.PREVELENCE OF SALMONELLATYPHI AND ANAEMIA .
