Five levels of crude extracts concentrations were used viz; 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100% respectively to determine the best concentration at which the extract will be most effective against the pathogen.The fungus Phytophthora megakarya was isolated from infected cocoa pod. Food poisoning technique was used to determine the toxicity of the neem extracts against the grov.·th of the pathogen.5 ml of A. indica extracts were mixed with 20 ml of Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) to get 20, 40, 60, and 80 % concentration, while the undiluted extract was recorded as I 00 %.
