Abstract
The study focused on the use of Fasteners and Disposal of Fullness in the Development of
Functional Maternity Apparels from Commercial Block Patterns, in Federal Capital Territory
Abuja, Nigeria. The major objective was to develop maternity apparels from commercial block
patterns, fasteners and disposal of fullness in FCT Abuja. Eight objectives, eight research
questions and four research hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The research design
used for the study was Research and development (R&D) design
