Abstract
This study was intended to examine democracy and youth participation in Zamfara.This study was guided by the following objectives; to examine the effect of money politics on youth participation in Gusau local government area, to examine the
relationship between material well-being and political participation, lo know whether there are strategies in encouraging youth participation in Gusau local government area and to determine the relationship between electioneering process and youths'
participation in politics. The study employed the descriptive and explanatory design.
