dc.description.abstractBased on the information fro th .. m e empmcal study, it can be concluded that most students and Teachers alike, rather prefer smaller classes to larger ones. Consistent with existing research (Glass & Smith, 1979), a positive link between student achievement and class size was found to exist. Most teachers 1 believed that student achievement and improved student behaviour was linked to decreased class size.en
