dc.description.abstractThis study examined the prevalence of Salmonella typhi and anemia (PCV) among patients attending university college hospital Ibadan, Oya state, Nigeria. Salmonella typhi causes typhoid fever which is an endemic disease in the tropic and sub-tropic and has bccome a major public health problem in developing countries of the world. Two hundred participants were used for the study. Blood samples were collected from I 00 male and 100 female patients for this study. Findings revealed that 68 % were positive while 32 % were negative among males and 46% were positive while 54% were tested negative among females.en
