dc.description.abstractA preliminary market study was conducted to assess the level of certain tea:vymetal in selected vegetable from two main markets in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State.(Obada market, Atikori market). These results were then compared with documented value of heavy metal in similar vegetables from other part of land (Ayesan, Dagbolu, Osunbodepo). The result indicate concentration variation of selected heavy metal in the sarne type of vegetable from different part of land.It shows the concentration of iron present in Ayesan, Dagboln, Osunbodepo, vegetables, water leaf and flutted pumpkin has the same concentration in Dagbolu.en
