Abstract
Political violence in Nigeria has become a regular feature in Nigeria most especially during election periods in Nigeria. The phenomenon has attracted scholarly attention because of the consequences and effects of the phenomenon. This research is aimed at exposing the factors responsible for youth political violence in Nigeria and in Zamfara state in particular. The research -makes use of both secondary and primary sources of data and employs the elite theory and synchronic approach.
