Abstract
This research work access the role of Nigerian security and civil defence corps in supplementing the effort of security in Jigawa state. This research is aimed at gathering information that will helps in assessing the role of NSCDC in crime prevention in Nigeria. The rate of crime today in the society has become an issue of concern among scholars of criminology and other related discipline.
