dc.description.abstractOver the last few decades man bas artificially produced several hundreds of radionuclide through industrialization and other man made activities. The presence and estimation of radionuclide contents of soil samples around cement maufacturing company was investigated in order to assess the radiation impact on the people living in the environment five (5) soil samples were analyzed for the presence of K- 40, Th- 232. ln the five (5) soil samples, it was found that K--40 had S25.7{, ± 5.2, 608.4-7--.c 3.3, 622.96 ± 4.9, 529.74 + 5.3 und 52.9.74en
