Abstract
This research work is on the motivation and staff performance in an organization (a case study of Dutse local government). This aimed at analyzing the various methods which one selected parastatals Dutse local government in Jigawa State use in motivating their employee's and its effect on the motivated employees, it was also to ascertain the impact of employee's satisfaction and performance in terms of productivity.
